Plants for Steep Hillsides
If you have a steel slope in your yard, you know how tricky it can be to landscape and maintain that area. Steep hillsides are seemingly impossible to deal with. Between the water runoff, the erosion, and trying to get a mower up the incline – it is tough work! Stop the hassle – it is time for a change!
There are certain plants that will actually thrive when planted on an incline. Once you have these plants established they will help with the erosion and water runoff issues. They will also make for a low maintenance slope because you will no longer have to struggle to push a mower up that steep slope.
