August Newsletter 2026
Hello from the Paramount Team!
August is here, and while summer is still in full swing across Loveland and the greater Cincinnati area, now is the perfect time to give your lawn the care it needs to stay healthy through the heat and bounce back strong into fall. Whether your turf is looking a little tired or you want to get ahead of the season, we’ve got the services and expertise to help.
💧 Professional Sprinkler System Installation
Don’t let another dry spell stress your lawn. A properly designed irrigation system delivers water exactly where and when your turf needs it—saving you time, reducing waste, and keeping your grass green even during August heat.
Our team designs and installs efficient Rain Bird and Hydrowise systems tailored to your property. From simple residential zones to more complex layouts, we handle everything.
🌱 Aeration + Starter Fertilizer + Overseeding
Late summer is an excellent window to rejuvenate your lawn before fall. Our complete package is designed to thicken thin areas, improve root health, and build a more resilient turf for the seasons ahead.
What’s Included:
- Double-pass aeration for maximum seed-to-soil contact
- Turf-type tall fescue seed selected for Ohio climate performance
- Starter fertilizer to help new seedlings establish quickly
Paramount is your full-service partner for year-round outdoor care. In addition to our August specials, we offer:
- 6-Application Lawn Care Program – Comprehensive fertilization and weed control throughout the growing season
- Tree & Shrub Spray Program – Protect your valuable trees and shrubs from insects and disease
- Injection Root Feeding – Deep root injections deliver nutrients directly to the root zone
- Mosquito & Perimeter Pest Spray – Enjoy your outdoor spaces more with effective treatments
- Landscape Design & Installation – From concept to completion, beautiful functional landscapes
- Commercial Snow Removal – Reliable professional snow and ice management all winter
- Water deeply, not daily. Aim for 1–1.5 inches per week, preferably early morning, to encourage deeper roots and reduce disease pressure.
- Raise your mowing height. Keep tall fescue at 3–3.5 inches during heat to shade the soil and reduce stress.
- Watch for heat stress. Footprints that linger or a bluish-gray cast are signs your lawn needs water. Don’t wait until it goes fully dormant.
- Skip heavy fertilizer now. Focus on starter fertilizer with overseeding instead of high-nitrogen feeds during peak heat.
- Plan ahead for fall. Aeration and overseeding in August or early September gives new grass the best chance to establish before cooler weather arrives.
Thank you for trusting Paramount Lawn and Landscape with your outdoor spaces. We look forward to helping your lawn finish the summer strong and head into fall looking its best!
