A recent project for Heritage Wealth Advisors included landscape lighting design, along with hardscaping and landscaping. The company needed lighting for curb appeal and security. The property is set back from the road, with the parking lot behind the office building. Paramount Lawn + Landscape’s goal was to feature both the building and landscaping after sunset.

Landscape Lighting Design: First Impressions

The front of your home or business is your property’s first impression. We lit the building center front as the main focal point, which also allows illumination of the front walkway and steps.

Giving depth to the lighting design, we softly illuminated the front corners, and tied it together with symmetrical placement on either side of the front windows.

The white-painted brick exterior shows an interesting and attractive texture when skimmed with well lights.

Landscape Lighting Design: Accent the Landscaping

Heritage Wealth Advisors’ landscaping is a combination of mature trees and newly-planted beds. We lit the ornamental tree to give height to the landscape design, and also lit the lower flowers and grasses to show the width of the bed.

But proper lighting behind back of the building is important for security, especially since there is a large parking lot not visible from the main road. The lighting at the rear entrance is welcoming and friendly, while discouraging unwanted activity.
